Members of the Board of Directors presented fellow Board Member Elaine Edmiston with the inaugural "Friend of CMHA Niagara" honour at the recent Annual General Meeting, June 16, 2016. This tribute acknowledges Elaine's many contributions to CMHA over the years. In addition to her leadership as a long-serving member of the Board, Elaine brought the successful Women and Wellness event to Niagara. Since 2011, this annual educational fundraiser has raised more than $170,000 to support CMHA Niagara's Walk-In Counselling. Thank you Elaine!
This brief report, which can be accessed here, highlights how helpful a Walk-In Counselling session is to someone experiencing a crisis. This is a great reminder of how important the Women and Wellness event is to the Walk-In Counselling program! CMHA Niagara is incredibly grateful for the dedicated volunteers who put the event together, and to the generous sponsors and attendees who make the evening a great success. Thank you for your continued support!
