What is “One Session at a Time” Counselling?

It is a therapeutic service that enables individuals to see CMHA counsellors at their decided moment of need.

The intention is to create opportunities for immediate problem solving and therapeutic conversation, as well as connectedness to other CMHA services if required.

For most individuals a single session may be all that is needed, however the walk-in service may be used more than once.

Who can Attend?

Individual adults, 16 years or older, from across the Niagara Region may attend. The focus or agenda of the counselling is based on what the individual wants from the meeting.
